Founded in 2010, The Great Duke Education pairs a classic British education with a calm, modern outlook. We are a co-educational day and boarding school for pupils aged 11 to 18.

At The Great Duke, academic ambition and personal character are not competing priorities. Pupils are taught by subject specialists in small classes, and they are expected to work hard. They are equally expected to be honest, courteous and generous, to look after one another and to contribute to the life of the school and the town.
Boarding gives the school its rhythm. With boarders and day pupils learning, eating and spending their evenings together, the school is a community seven days a week rather than a place that empties at four o'clock.

In the Heart of Cheltenham
The school sits on the High Street in the centre of Cheltenham, a Regency spa town on the edge of the Cotswolds. Pupils have galleries, theatres, parks and libraries on their doorstep, and the town's festivals of literature, music, science and jazz bring world-class speakers and performers within walking distance.
Cheltenham Spa railway station has direct services to London, Birmingham, Bristol and beyond, and Birmingham, Bristol and Heathrow airports are within easy reach for international families.
