Concerns and Complaints
Most concerns are resolved quickly and informally by speaking to your child's tutor or houseparent. If that does not resolve the matter, our complaints procedure sets out a clear process in three stages: an informal stage, a formal written complaint to the Head, and a hearing before a panel that includes someone independent of the school.
We record every formal complaint and report the number received each year. In the last academic year, we received [NUMBER] formal complaints.
Boarders can also raise a concern with the independent listener, Susan Marlowe, whose details are displayed in every boarding house, or with the Children's Commissioner for England.
