Scholarships and Bursaries
Scholarships recognise exceptional talent. Bursaries open the school to pupils who would thrive here but whose families need help with fees.
Scholarships
Scholarships are awarded at 11+, 13+ and 16+ entry. They carry a fee reduction of up to [PERCENTAGE], and scholars join a programme of enrichment with high expectations. Scholarships may be combined with a bursary.
Academic
For pupils of outstanding intellectual ability and curiosity, assessed through papers and interview.
Music
For accomplished instrumentalists and singers, assessed by audition. May include free tuition on one or two instruments.

For pupils with real flair, assessed through a portfolio and a practical session.
Drama
For talented performers, assessed by audition and workshop.
Sport
For pupils competing at county level or above, assessed through practical trials and references.
All-rounder
For pupils who combine strong academic ability with excellence across several areas of school life.

Help with Fees
Means-tested bursaries can cover up to [100%] of fees, depending on a family's circumstances.
Bursaries are assessed on household income, assets and outgoings, and reviewed each year. They are available to day pupils and to boarders. Applications are handled confidentially by the Bursar.
